Robbie's Tale

The Lost Ripples

When the fifth and sixth books of the Beginnings series were rewritten, a huge chunk of the story was removed to make the books shorter. Robbie’s Tale: The Lost Ripples, are those pages. The fifth book in the series, The Ripple, introduces the first of several science fiction angles, The Quantum Regressionator. Its intended use was for Frank to go back in time and get information only available a few years pre-plague. Unfortunately, the decision to send Frank was not thought out. Frank had his own additional plans. For what he believed was the good of the community and mainly his family, Frank manipulated circumstances to bring back his brother, Robbie. Upon his return, things had rippled so much, that Frank went back again to try once more. These are the stories of the what occurred during these ripples. Revisiting the plague once more, only this time with Robbie’s influence. The Lost Ripples show why and how things turned out and changed the way they did. Complete with author notes and explanations.
