Getaways can be positively ghoulish! Diner owner, Sonja Reed works hard, both at her diner, and as an amateur sleuth who can talk to ghosts. For Sonja's birthday, her boyfriend Frank has a romantic weekend getaway planned for them at a secluded cabin in the mountains. She’s grateful for the chance to finally escape from the daily drama of family, solving murders, and her ghostly encounters. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned when Sonja believes that she has witnessed a murder at a neighboring cabin. The getaway becomes even more confusing when there is no evidence that indicates a murder ever took place. Will Sonja be able to use her supernatural skills to get to the bottom of things before it's too late, or will her birthday weekend be ultimately ruined by a visions of ghosts, murder and mayhem?
