Sometimes, a twenty first century crime scene needs the rough and tumble skills of an old school Private Investigator. Retired Special Forces Captain Nate Hale is called to scene of a grizzly murder at a hotel, outside the wealthy horse racing town of Union Springs. His contact on the Union Springs PD asks him in on the job, and ghosts from Hale's military past quickly intrude, in the shape of a drop dead gorgeous woman who is handy with a gun, and a brutal former comrade in arms. Does his loyalty lie with the police, or a debt of honor to an old comrade? What is the difference between the Law and Justice?
