Glory and the Rawhide Preacher

2011

Levi’s deal with God doesn’t include falling in love. Levi has devoted his life to preaching God’s Word. In exchange, he expects God to bring his outlaw brother back into the fold. It sounded easy enough when he made the vow but living it out is proving more difficult than he imagined… especially when he encounters the britches-wearing, horse-riding Glory—the most unusual woman he’s ever met. Middle sister Glory believes there isn’t a man alive who can be trusted. And that includes the man who claims to be a preacher but looks more like an outlaw. He confuses her, and it isn’t long before her heart is involved. Is Glory just a test for Levi’s faith? Or is he the one man she can trust? Sisters stick together. She’d be foolish to open her heart to a wandering cowboy who reminds her far too much of her absentee father. Rudy likes being footloose and fancy free. That is until he takes in Freddy. He never expected to have such affection for his young charge. Just like he didn’t expect meddling, bossy Joanna and her ideas of how he should raise the boy. He doesn’t need a woman in his life, not after the way he’s been hurt before. As Joanna and Rudy help Freddy learn to trust, they discover the boy’s feelings of abandonment strike too close to home. Can two wounded people learn to trust each other and stop running from love? Sisters stick together. Read all the books in the Bonner’s Ferry Glory Mandy Joanna

Linda Ford grew up devouring books and making up stories in her head—often late at night when she couldn't sleep. But she hadn't planned to write. Instead, she dreamed of running an orphanage. In a way, that dream came true. She married, had four homemade children, adopted ten and lived (at times, endured) the dream. Writing first took her to non-fiction human-interest articles for newspapers and eventually a non-fiction book about tuberculosis set in the 1930s and 1940s (Touched By The White Plague). But romance had always been her first love and she turned to writing love stories. She is multi-published in the CBA market. She lives on a small ranch in Alberta, Canada, where she can see the mountains every day. She and her husband continue to enjoy their children and grandchildren.
