A grave disturbed. A body missing. And Sweet Briar’s peace is about to unravel.Rosie Weaver treasures her quiet Amish life… mornings in the garden, monthly book club with lifelong friends, and mysteries that stay safely between the pages. But when a young man’s coffin is found empty in the coffin maker’s barn, reality turns stranger than fiction, and far more dangerous. Josiah Miller was beloved in public, but rumors swirl that he wasn’t the same behind closed doors. Rosie is shaken, and her peaceful routine splinters. Suddenly drawn into a case that threatens to expose long-held secrets, Rosie must confront what’s buried in her own community, and perhaps her own past. With the help of her sharp-witted friends and the reluctant English detective Johnathan Carr, she starts to uncover a story more tangled than she imagined. What kind of man is worth stealing from the grave, and who’s trying to protect his sins? Buried Secrets is the compelling first novel in the Amish Book Club Mystery Series. If you enjoy cozy murder mystery books, elderly Amish amateur sleuths, and suspense with a faith-filled heart, you’ll love Tracy Fredrychowski’s engaging new series. Order today and discover what’s been hidden beneath Sweet Briar all along.

Country girl, author, homesteader and anything simple living is what I love! I have a passion for writing about the simpler side of life, much like the life I lived growing up in rural Pennsylvania. My life has always been intertwined with the Amish culture, and it’s only fitting that I have a genuine passion for their simplicity, sense of community and God-centered life. Growing up in Northwest Pennsylvania I spent my childhood immersed deep in Amish Country. The clip-clop of horse and buggies woke me each morning as Amish men drove past my childhood home on their way to work. As a young woman, I was traumatized by an Amish murder that involved my family and changed my life forever. (If you want to read about it, please read Crimson Stain by Jim Fisher and take note that Jake, who was an essential part of that true story was my uncle.) Even though we currently live in South Carolina our travels take us through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin’s Amish Country every year. During those stops, I research the communities we visit and I pride myself on writing Amish fiction that truly represents the Amish culture. I am very fortunate to have made friends in these communities and value the information they share with me and want nothing more than to share it as accurately as possible. If you are intrigued by the Amish lifestyle, then I invite you to follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and check back here often for new short stories, and information on new book releases.
