Real estate agent Ryan Chaise lives a quiet life in Southern Spain with his beautiful girlfriend. Everything in his life seems perfectly ordinary. Except that Ryan has a secret. A former agent for the British Secret Intelligence Service, Chaise gets embroiled in a world of drug-pushers and gangsters after accidentally killing a petty criminal absconding with a package of cocaine. Forced to protect himself and his family, Chaise’s old skills come to the fore as danger and death tolls rise. Who to trust, who to ignore, who to kill. Chaise has many choices, and he'll need to make the right ones to survive. It’s going to be a difficult balancing act. But does he still have the tools to make it?

These are difficult times for so many of us, uncertainty and unease, constant companions. A good book can help us all to escape to a different world. As a writer, I'm fortunate that I can create new worlds or visit old ones. I hope you can join me as I sit here, at my home in Spain and do my best to do what I do best! Mine is not a rags to riches story or one borne out of hardship, the need to write to pay bills, or the result of a college course. I write because I love it and I always strive to make my work as enjoyable as possible. Writing in several genres allows me to weave all sorts of different stories, from Westerns to thrillers to historical fiction. Readers can slip into another world and come out feeling breathless, excited, desperate for more. Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't, but I try my best.
