College can be murder. Catching a killer can be deadly. When Jaime, a senior year nursing student, is brutally killed in her dorm, the campus police do the obligatory minimum––placing extra patrolman at night––and not much else. Jaime’s death looks to be on its way to the cold case files. But when five students each get mysterious invitations to solve the murder, it starts a chain of events that will end in more death. Why are five strangers pulled into a murder––and by whom? What did Jaime know that got her killed? Armed with only her journal, the five try to put the pieces of the crime together before it’s too late.

We live in the Pacific Northwest and are under-prepared if one of the volcanoes erupts.
