Maria’s search for her missing brother leads her north to a small town called Sedgingly. Her only clue to his whereabouts was a small flyer she had found in his room the morning he disappeared. Following her only lead, she heads off into the unknown… in to the path of a nightmare, and the arms of a handsome stranger. What was supposed to be a scientific breakthrough, the creation of a new green energy source, suddenly became a living and breathing nightmare. A chemical spill and an experiment gone wrong, create monsters that literally rip through this town, devouring everything in their path. The only way to stop the killing was to find the source… but getting to it would prove deadly.

Ian Woodhead is just past the age of forty. He lives in the north of England and is married to a wonderful woman. He has forgotten how many children he has. He had been writing for nearly twenty years but has only just gained the confidence to start showing his work. Ian finds it a little creepy writing about himself in the third person.
