When Juniper returns home for Christmas after the death of her dad, she finds her mother reluctant to continue his yearly traditions and a holiday season without his festive cheer. During her visit, Juniper's mom announces she's selling the family home, causing Juniper's world to spiral. Aside from losing her job—a secret she's keeping to herself—she's losing her childhood home too. After bumping into the newly-arrived neighbor, Wyatt, a single father of two who has no time for the holidays, she realizes she can share her holiday joy with them and help ease their transition into the neighborhood.
