When Mariah’s man, Giovanni catches her doing the unspeakable, she is left wondering what to do next. Facing eviction with little money, she makes the decision to pack up her things and go visit her family in her hometown, New Orleans. Although the journey is an emotional one since she hasn’t been home in over three years, it’s worth it when she sees her family. During the welcome home gathering thrown together by her cousin, Denise, Mariah meets the handsome Samson. The two strike up a conversation and find they have a lot in common.
