Hello. I’m Christopher Bahn, a writer and editor from Minneapolis. My latest project is 11 new books for young readers from the publisher Creative Company. The six-book Enduring Mysteries series for ages 11 and up takes a look at the science and culture behind Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and other spooky topics. My five books in the Amazing Animals series for elementary-aged readers cover cuddly critters like otters, seals, and … well, scorpions aren’t cuddly, but they’re pretty interesting anyway! My features, reviews, interviews, album liner notes, and other writing have appeared in The A.V. Club, MSNBC.com, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Clarkesworld, and elsewhere. I was also the lead editor for the A.V. Club‘s Minneapolis-St. Paul edition from 2004 to 2010, and an associate editor at The Rake and the Minnesota editions of Citysearch and Sidewalk.
