Fire Song
2016
Alternate cover edition of ASIN B01E4VBRC0
There’s a serial killer stalking dragon shifters in Sea City, and pretty boy Detective Lachlan Flint wants my help tracking the killer down.
I’m a dragon shifter myself. Penny Caspian’s the name. But I’m trying to lie low, not run around interrogating half the dragon community—or one dragon in particular. My ex.
Yeah, I left my destined mate. I know, I know. Dragons don’t do that. Trust me. It’s better this way.
This detective, though, he’s not taking no for an answer. Did I mention he’s pretty? But haunted and hiding something. There’s some deep-down trouble in that boy’s hollow eyes, and I got enough trouble of my own. Vampire motorcycle gangs. Wounded gargoyles. Locked dragon crypts.
Maybe it’s because I saw that shifter’s broken body, washed up on the beach. Maybe it’s her dead, empty eyes. It’s something, the hell if I know what, but I am going to find that killer. This is my city, and I look after my own.

Fire Storm
2016
Penny Caspian here. Another day, another dead dragon shifter in Sea City. This one’s Fletcher Remington, a rich playboy who enjoyed surfing and heroin until he disappeared without a trace. Detective Lachlan Flint and I are on the case, mixing it up with the upper crust to find out what happened to him.
Speaking of Lachlan and me—we’re in a holding pattern. He’s afraid to get close to me, because he’s apparently so mesmerized by the taste of my blood that he’s afraid he’ll lose control and hurt me. I keep saying that I can take care of myself, but it’s like he’s deaf.
And the one time he does actually get swept up in the moment and kiss me again, my ex shows up. Yeah, the abusive jerk has powerful magic now—I don’t know from where—and he’s got no qualms about using it to beat me senseless and pummel Lachlan too.
My ex wants me back, but that’s never going to happen.

Fire Magic
2016
Alastair Cooper, my abusive ex-husband, is dead. He was found in dragon form in a dragon slayer’s cooler, an arrow in his heart. But before I can start dancing for joy, I find that I’m the main suspect in Alastair’s murder. The only person the police think is more likely to have committed the crime is Lachlan Flint, my boyfriend.
After we’re arrested and spend a night locked up in a jail that leaches the magic from our bones, we know we’ve got no choice but to find out who really killed Alastair. We’ve got to clear our names.
I can’t go to prison. I’ve got a baby on the way, and I have to do whatever I can to protect my unborn child. Of course, Lachlan doesn’t know about that. How do I tell him I’m pregnant?
With Alastair’s child?

Fire Marked
2016
Return to Sea City and Penny Caspian's oceanfront hotel! Not only are rogue dragons real, they’re attacking my hotel. Every few days, there’s another one, terrorizing me, my unborn baby, my boyfriend Lachlan Flint, my friends, and my guests. I have to figure out what’s drawing them there and stop them from coming, if only because Clarke Gannon the dragon slayer keeps showing up, and I don’t much like her. Lachlan and I are dealing with a case involving stolen magical artifacts and a gargoyle matriarch who doesn’t have much faith in our skills. When the case and the attacking rogues converge one day, we run smack into Lachlan’s past. He used to work undercover for magical narcotics, and now the vampire gang he infiltrated might offer our only hope to stop the rogues and protect our child. But to do that, we’ll need to go undercover again, into the depths of the dangerous magical underworld.

Fire Born
2016
Penny Caspian again. Nine months pregnant. Big as a house. And there’s another serial killer loose in Sea City. This guy uses compulsion to kill his victims, forces them to do it themselves, and makes it look like a suicide. But my boyfriend Detective Lachlan Flint and I have uncovered his gruesome methods and are on his trail. As the bodies pile up, we know we have to stop him. What else? Oh, my cousin showed up, pregnant as well, disowned by my grandparents. An old flame of Felicity’s is driving a wedge between her and Jensen. And Lachlan and I are struggling with our vow not to share blood. We know that if we do, we’ll rekindle blood bond, and we aren’t going back to that darkness. But every time we touch, it tempts us. So… we’re not touching so much these days. And I miss touching him. I miss kissing him. I miss all of him.

Fire Brand
2016
I’m Penny Caspian, and my life is damned near perfect. I have a beautiful new baby who I love so much it hurts, and his dad, Detective Lachlan Flint, is still as wonderful as he’s ever been. We never thought we’d ever be this lucky, but here we are. Of course, the Eaglelinx corporation is still using their candies to create rogue dragons. I swore I’d stop them, but I’ve been a bit busy changing diapers and doing night feedings the past nine months. When Eaglelinx threatens to use their influence to take my hotel, I realize my time is running out. I have to stop them now. But we’ve just taken on a new murder case. Beckett James Stanley, a figure from the early days of gargoyle rights, has been killed while he lay in his hospital bed. We’ve got to find the murderer and bring him or her to justice. It’s fine, though. I’ve got this. I can do it all and still be home in time to put my son to bed.

Fire and Flood
2017
The final installment in the City of Dragons series! When my fiancé Lachlan Flint finds out that his daughter’s killer has been murdered in a locked cell with no apparent entry points, he says he has to take a crack at the case. He says it’s a thought experiment, but I’m fairly sure it’s about closure. Nothing has had a deeper affect on Lachlan than the death of his daughter. Normally, I’d be all for closure, but things are getting bad with the Green King. The ancient sea monster attacked my hotel with a supernatural tidal wave that closed me down for business and put us all in danger. I want to figure out how to stop the Green King, not go off and try to solve murders. But, as I said, nothing has had a deeper affect on Lachlan, so off we all go to Texas, where we’re neck deep in prison politics and shady suspects. All the while, the Green King closes in.

St. Nokken
a City of Dragons and Slayer Chronicles Christmas Crossover
2016
When Clarke Gannon brings a distraught woman to her friend Penny Caspian for help, it’s because Clarke’s too busy to assist, not because she thinks the woman’s nuts. But when the lady tells them she needs someone to hunt down Santa Claus, who’s missing, it seems obvious the poor lady has lost it. Enter Clarke’s nemesis, Ronan Cunningham, who insists that not only is Santa Claus real, but that old St. Nick’s got one of the magical objects that Cunningham wants. Cunningham uses those objects to compel Clarke and Penny to help find Santa. Someone’s got to save Christmas. Right?
