One phone call was all it took to dismantle the relationship that Serenity Smith had spent the last seven years building with her fiancé Yosohn Thomas. One phone call that confirmed everything she’d known for that he was a lying, cheating, two-timing dog.Embarrassed, hurt, and fed up, Serenity does the only thing she can think to do. She leaves, forcing Yosohn to get his act together.Although Yosohn knows he isn’t perfect, he loves Serenity with all his heart. While he regrets cheating on her, his biggest regret was cheating on her with a chick that just can’t seem to let go.For Jocelyn Rodriguez, Yosohn is like an addictive drug that she can’t get enough of. She’s hooked. And just like a drug addict craving a high, she’ll do anything to get her next hit.
Despite loving one another endlessly, Serenity and Yosohn are torn further and further apart by lies, obsession, and deadly secrets. Will the two of them make it, or will their relationship be destroyed by the people closest to them?
This is a re-release, previously titled Deceit, Lies, & Alibi's.

"Where rebellion meets romance. Crafting stories for the women who make their own rules." Shontaiye Moore was born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland. Daughter to an avid reader, her love for literature developed at a young age. She penned her first novel in 2015 to help her make sense of the heartbreak she was experiencing at the time. She now writes Black Women’s Fiction and Urban Romance, where her stories demonstrate relatable struggles, rebellious women, and most importantly, the power and rewards of love. Armed with a B.S. in Business, she writes full-time and works for a non-profit in Baltimore City serving low-income families. When she isn't writing, she's studying for her Master's In Public Administration and spending time with her daughter Tatyana aka Toots. With dedication and hard work, she hopes to find her audience and produce books that serve as an escape to as many readers as possible.
