Jack has been completely alone for the last year. His son, Eric, died in a tragic accident and he hasn’t had the will to do much since then except lay on the couch and watch TV. He’s lonely, but he just can’t be around anyone. One night he finds his son’s best friend, Brian, sleeping in Eric’s clubhouse in the backyard. Brian misses Eric too, but he also misses Jack, who was always like a father to him. Jack brings Brian inside and talks to him for a while. He realizes how much he’s missed Brian and the times they spent together. But thoughts creep into Jack’s head that he doesn’t like. Thoughts about Brian. Thoughts that make him hard. Thoughts that are so wrong he can’t stand to be around the boy any longer.
