"Coração Sem Abrigo" is a story of solitude but also about the sharing of love. The story is told by the main character, a homeless man who choose to cross a line he calls as "the bridge", leaving behind the other life he had, where the memories prevails, the friends, the family, the past, everything he wants is to be free of society and unrecognised. The only relationship he keeps is with the dog he rescued, Lobito, to whom he will give all his love. Lobito a dog of black fur will be his only companion across his journey. The story let us know about the excluded from society, their wandering around the city, what secrets they hide and reasons why they were defeated by the force and have given their should to the solitude of being completely alone.

JOSÉ JORGE LETRIA nasceu em Cascais, a 8 de Junho de 1951. Estudou Direito e História e é pós-graduado em Jornalismo Internacional. Com dezenas de livros publicados em diversas áreas, foi distinguido com importantes prémios literários nacionais e internacionais. É um dos mais destacados nomes da literatura infanto-juvenil em Portugal e autor de programas de rádio e televisão. Está traduzido em várias línguas. Integrou, com José Afonso, Adriano e Manuel Freire, entre outros, o movimento da canção de resistência, tendo sido agraciado em 1997 com a Ordem da Liberdade. Foi, durante oito anos, vereador da Cultura da Câmara de Cascais. É, desde Janeiro de 2011, Presidente da Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores. É co-autor, com José Fanha, de várias antologias de poesia portuguesa.
