Video Game Recruiting
2016
Science Fiction and the Scientists lied…..
There was no golden age of discovery. No FTL or Galactic Federations. At first contact we found out how wrong we had been about the future.
Then a failed alien invasion had crushed our reborn hope.
==========================================
Tim grew up a normal kid. He went to school and spent time with friends. After all ‘work hard, play hard’ is the way people live now.
All Tim had ever wanted was a nice entry level management position somewhere. Preferably in The Glentol Corporation. He didn’t know that he would become involved in something much bigger.
There have never been many successful candidates for Marine training. The requirements are high and only a few successfully complete training every year. Humanity needs every Marine it has and more.
Tim will be put into a situation where he will discover the sabotage in the recruiting program. Will he be able to expose the cause and fix it? Or will he fail and watch as the experimental video game recruiting process is shut down?
Without the Marines how will humanity survive when the aliens come back?
Book 2 in The Corporate Marines Welcome To The Marines out now.
Book 3 in The Corporate Marines First Deployment coming soon.

Welcome To The Marines
2016
Science Fiction and the Scientists had lied to us..... There was no golden age of discovery. No FTL or Galactic Federations. At first contact we found out how wrong we had been about the future. Then a failed alien invasion had crushed our reborn hope. ========================================= Murderer. Sam Slate was from the Projects and had killed several of his fellow students. Now he is in court facing the death penalty which the public wants. The only thing saving him had been mandatory testing that identified him as an ideal and very rare candidate for Marine training. Unfortunately the public won’t get what it wants. The Glentol Corporation desperately needs more recruits. They aren’t above over riding the rules in any regional court to get what Earth desperately needs to survive. Sam has to head off to a top secret facility and undergo training for months with constant mental and physical testing. If he passes, he lives. If he fails? Maybe he gets shipped off world to one of the outposts for a very long time. Or maybe he just gets executed. Will he make it into training and survive? Or will his past come back to finish him off? =========================================== Author's I just want to say thank you for taking the time to look at my book with a special thanks to those of you who have purchased it. The Isolationist Movement
2016
There are always those who want to deny that anything is wrong. The Isolationists are those people. Humanity cannot ignore deep space or the aliens that are out there. Simply fortifying the Solar System for when the Enemy comes back is not an answer. But they refuse to see that.
For decades the Isolationist movement was small, disjointed, underfunded and poorly if ever led.
Something has changed though.
Someone or something is bringing the different groups and individuals together. Is someone organising the negative publicity against the Glentol Corporation?
What do they hope to achieve?
Set in the Corporate Marine Universe this 8,000+ word short story answers some questions and asks more.

First Deployment
2016
Science fiction and the scientists lied to us.
There was no golden age of discovery. No FTL or Galactic Federations. At first contact we found out how wrong we had been about the future.
Then, aliens invaded Earth and crushed our reborn hope.
Sam Slate, now known as call sign Eight, is trying to fit in with the new section. He’d travelled through space to finally arrive at a small ship that carries a Marine section around the edges of human-occupied space, travelling from outpost to base to satellite making sure everything is the way it is supposed to be.
No matter how hard he tries, Eight just can’t fit in. His combat scores are poor and most of his interactions with the section aren’t working.
It’s not that he isn’t trying to fit in. It’s that the rest of the section doesn’t operate like he was trained.
They all have to figure it out soon, though. An unknown force has destroyed one outpost, and while continuing their patrol, the Marines find that another larger outpost has been invaded by what appears to be the same enemy.
The section has to deploy against the enemy that they can see … but how will they deal with the enemy and sabotage that they can’t?
If they fail to figure out what is wrong, then they may not survive the trap laid out for them by the emperor’s finest.
