The holidays are for second chances… Christmas in Texas is usually mild, but every so often a wicked storm rolls through. When Coralee can’t get home for the holidays, it’s a lucky twist of fate, her neighbor from back home—who is also her ex-boyfriend from high school—is making the drive across Texas himself. Left with no other way home for the holidays, she begrudgingly accepts Jake’s offer to drive her back home to El Paso from Houston. Equally annoying? He’s even more attractive and kind than he was when they were kids, and she can’t help but think of the mistakes she may have made when they were kids. When the pair get stuck halfway across the state and has to stay in a trailer in the middle of nowhere, old wounds are reopened, and misunderstandings from the past come to light. Ever the gentleman, Jake takes care of Coralee just as he always had, and the two have a chance to reconcile their differences. When the storm subsides and they can make it back home, will their time stranded together be more than just a holiday hook-up, or will they just be craving each other at Christmas?
