It isn’t easy being the queen. It’s hard to believe that only a few months ago, I was just a witch in the French Quarter. Because of the stone’s power, I was transformed into a royal fae which made me their queen. I didn’t ask for this. But it was either being thrust into royalty or be consumed by their magic. I picked the crown. At least now I was truly allowed to be with Elden. No one could question our relationship any longer. The problem was, not all of the fae were happy that I was their queen. However, I had bigger things to deal with; like Caedmon still threatening to control all of the realms. And, the minor detail that I might immortal since I bound the magic of the stone with my soul. I miss being just a witch.
