Sometimes love can lead to one’s own demise, no matter how much they try to stop it. Jayce has always felt it was his duty to protect those who were in trouble. When a new vampire trainee, by the name of Carlos, turns up at Jayce’s door asking for help, Jayce is powerless to stop himself.
