I was born in Georgia, lived in Scotland, raised in Texas, and fed in Louisiana. Through a great deal of traveling, moving, and eating, I developed a keen interest in reading, and observing people. People, at least some of them, are as interesting as books. I often wonder about a person’s story; the guy sitting on a bench by himself looking at nothing in particular and talking to himself, the elderly woman walking into the grocery store with mismatched slippers, or the single mother who’s afraid of the night. Whether working in a restaurant, a warehouse, or a courthouse, I’ve noticed some very interesting people, and have recently figured out that I can write about them in a way that, hopefully, others will find interesting. After reading the stories that I’ve written, you may find that you’ve seen these people too. Please don’t judge them too harshly.
