A brand-new side novel to the number one bestselling Western novel from Randall Dale! This is the fourth book in the “Branson Hawk: United States Marshal Western Series.” This is the story of two men, one born a slave and the other into lavish idleness. Gunther matures in the North where slavery has nothing to do with him until a reversal of fortune sends him to the frontier where he comes face-to-face with the reality of human bondage. Curley grows to adulthood as a slave in the Deep South with only one desire… Freedom! No sacrifice is too great, no burden is too heavy and no punishment is too severe to keep him from trying for the North. His constant thought—freedom at any cost. “Heart wrenching and triumphant.” T.S. of Phoenix, Arizona
