Where There's a Will

2023

...There's A Way. Connor and Will are at vastly different points in their lives. At 32, Connor Stark’s life is pretty great. With a handsome boyfriend, a thriving business as an Events Coordinator, and a vibrant social life set against the stunning backdrop of Australia’s Gold Coast, he has very few complaints. Hell, he even has eye candy in the form of his uniformed silver fox upstairs neighbour, not that he’d ever do anything more than perv on the guy. Then one day tragedy strikes, and Connor is thrust into single parenthood as he is handed a newborn baby and what feels like zero lifelines. Meanwhile, at 49, perpetually single firefighter Will Bradford’s life is also pretty great. Though his hair might be more silver than brown these days, he has a rewarding job, amazing grown-up kids, and an adorable downstairs neighbour he probably shouldn’t be checking out as often as he does. So sue him; he’s only human. When Connor’s life is turned upside down overnight, Will finds himself helping the younger man navigate his new reality. He has no intention of falling butt over teakettle for Connor or his kid, but somehow it happens anyway. With Connor a broken man, and Will concerned about restarting the whole parenting gig from scratch, how can they make a relationship work, especially when life seems intent on throwing even more hurdles their way? CW: Despite the bulk of the romance being tooth-rottingly sweet, this book does touch on some potentially triggering topics. These include: death of close family members (both through terminal illness and also sudden means), traffic accidents, fire trauma, homelessness, mild homophobia, and the stress/trauma of raising children, including sleep deprivation, self-doubt/anxiety, custody negotiations, and the fear of losing one’s child. You Don't Know Jack

2024

…And, apparently, neither does he.At 31, Jack Bradford’s life is looking just the way he wants it to. He literally lives in paradise (Surfers Paradise, but who’s counting?), loves his job as a firefighter, has a great group of friends and all the freedom his heart desires and nothing is about to change that. At least, that’s what he thinks. However, when a past lover comes knocking with an epic surprise of the ‘small human’ variety in tow, Jack’s perfectly curated life is upended. Hiring a nanny—a manny, in fact—to help him navigate unexpected parenthood couldn’t possibly complicate his situation any further, right?(Spoiler wrong!)Meanwhile, Leo Martin knows that he’s not what most people imagine when they hear the words ‘nanny’ or ‘au pair’. At 21 years old, most guys his age generally run screaming from the thought of looking after small children, but not him. Nope.Leo loves his job. It’s just the rest of his life that could use a spruce up, seeing as his recent breakup has left him homeless and his heart bruised. Naturally, being offered a job with room and board taken care of sounds like a dream…until he comes face to face with hot single dad, Jack, and discovers that he may have bitten off more than he can chew. With Jack discovering parts of himself he never knew existed, and Leo attempting to maintain professional boundaries, how will they navigate their way to their Happily Ever After?CW -Despite the bulk of the romance being tooth-rottingly sweet, this book does touch on some potentially triggering topics. These include some chauvinistic behaviours, ‘outing’ someone without their consent, the stress/trauma of raising children, self-doubt/anxiety, parental meddling, brief mentions of custody negotiations, mentions of cheating/infidelity (not on page or between the MCs), and discussion of homophobia and parental rejection.

A Match Made In Evan

2025

And a comedy of errors so divine, it might all work out anyway. James Durant considers himself a great dad. His teenaged daughter, Mia, is his entire world and he will do almost anything to help her achieve her dreams. Somehow, that includes asking his best friend to be his pretend fiancé to boost her chances at getting into an exclusive private school and the drama program she so desperately wants to enrol in. No, he’s still not sure he follows that logic himself, but he’ll do it for Mia. Unfortunately, James underestimates just how much work is involved in maintaining a fake relationship…or that it might bring up old feelings he buried long ago. Having known James since they were kids, Evan Bernardi will do almost anything for him. So, pretending to be in a relationship isn’t a hardship. After all, they’re so close that there’s very little pretending involved. They’re well matched as best friends, and they know each other inside and out. But when one thing leads to another, and their fake relationship begins to feel more real than pretend, Evan and James have some choices to make. If only life would stop throwing them curve balls… A Match Made In Evan is a ridiculously sweet friends-to-lovers, double bi-awakening, fake dating m/m romance. In it you will find two oblivious—but loveable—idiots, teenagers wreaking havoc, and probably too many soccer references for a non-sport-themed novel. That said, while it is low-angst (with zero miscommunication), this book does also touch on some potentially triggering topics. These problematic behaviour and lying, traffic accidents, internalised homophobia, teen pregnancy, anxiety and self-doubt.
