Lead kedge, Dair, was annoyed with his alpha, Kylor. The alpha master dyad was arrogant and refused to listen to Dair, humiliating him in front of the whole clan. Risking his life at every turn to relieve the guilt, anguish and depression that overtook him, he lost the will to live. Between his past and his present, his future looked bleak, until Kylor called him home to save the mate that was destined for him by the fates.
