Daisy Coulson thinks she's pretty ordinary. She works at a local school, and she spends most of her evenings watching TV at home. Two local women have been murdered, but Daisy doesn't think she's in much danger. After all, why would anyone kidnap somebody who's as boring as her? Then disaster strikes. Harry's a killer. One night, while he's disposing of one of his recent victims, he spots an open window. Almost without thinking, he slips inside and begins to scout out his next target. Daisy seems almost to have fallen right into his lap, so he takes her home and ties her up. He thinks she's just another in the long line of women he's going to torture and murder. He's very wrong. Daisy and Harry are each about to enter a nightmare. For Daisy, the fight is all about survival. For Harry it's something even darker, something that cuts to the core of why he does what he does, and how he became a monster. Can Daisy and Harry save each other? And if they can... should they? This is the first part of the six-part Daisy serial. Each installment features scenes of horror and violence, and ends on a cliffhanger.
