Dana Illwind and Sorcerer Lord Jayden fought hard to keep Meadowland Kingdom from invading three neighboring kingdoms. They’ve defeated soldiers, golems, gargoyles, wizards, monsters and the undead. It wasn’t enough. War’s horrors have spread far and wide, bringing untold suffering to the innocent. In these dark times, Dana and Jayden find themselves needed more than ever. Meadowland’s king and queen have introduced horrible monsters and men infinitely worse to the kingdom. Among this horde of villains comes a threat as insidious as it is powerful, seeking to take root in the chaos of war and spread its malignant influence.
