Cindy O'Quinn is an Appalachian writer who grew up in the mountains of West Virginia. She now lives and writes dark stories and poetry, on the old Tessier Homestead in northern Maine. Cindy is the author of the short story, “Lydia,” from _The Twisted Book of Shadows Anthology_ She was a 2019 HWA Bram Stoker Nominee for her story. The anthology went on to win the Shirley Jackson award.
