David C. McLean was born in Wales in 1960 and educated at Balliol College, Oxford, where he took a BA in History. He moved to Sweden in 1987, for some reason, and lived there for 30 years, taking an MA in philosophy at the University of Stockholm. He has written poetry off and on since 1994.
