On occasion I've been a toy store salesperson, a plumber's apprentice, a web developer, a spotlight operator, a production artist, a pizza maker, and a student, but I prefer coaxing language into pleasing arrangements more than any of these. My sandwiches are fairly good, I'm told, and my chili recipe gets appreciative nods from friends. I have short works published in the Northridge Review, Crack the Spine Literary Magazine, Kazka Press' California Cantata, and Flame Tree's Chilling Horror Short Stories . My story "Vanni’s Choice" was a winner of the NeoVerse Short Story Writing Competition, and published in Threads: A NeoVerse Anthology . My story “Collections” earned an Honorable Mention in Glimmer Train’s 2013 Short Story Award for New Writers, and appeared in Grim Corps Volume II . I am a winner of Writers of the Future, and my story "Trading Ghosts" appears in Writers of the Future Anthology #36 . I am currently seeking representation for my novel A Son of Ashwind. You can find me in Los Angeles with an inspirational wife and the ghost of a curmudgeonly black cat.
