Sophie LaFleur planned to slay her first summer in quaint Friendship Harbor, Maine, but not quite so literally … It’s the Grand Opening of the new Captain’s Inn, an upscale bed and breakfast on the coast, and at the urging of the locals, it’s been paired with a Christmas in July theme. Only no one is rockin’ around the tree when the town’s beloved Santa goes boots up over the edge of a cliff and straight into the ocean. With no witnesses to the incident other than Jack—and he’s not talking—theories abound.
