With her newfound abilities to hear voices after a lightning strike, Mac is once again drawn into the planning of another murder. Or, so she thinks. Set against the backdrop of a mystery theater production she is helping to put on, Mac is finding it difficult to sort out what is real and what is pretend. With the help of her family & friends, along with her kitten, Shaylee -who seems to have mystical powers of her own- it becomes a race against time for Mac to understand what the voices are really saying. Can Mac trust what she hears long enough to prevent a murder? Or, are the voices possibly leading to her ominous end?
