Silver Montague is in hiding and just wants to be left alone. He bought a dilapidated farmhouse on the outskirts of Howling Cavern, and uses the land to make a living. But all that changes when Declan shows up, accusing Silver of funding the militia. Silver has no clue what Declan is talking about, but becomes frightened when Declan bites him and pushes his way into Silver's life. But danger turns into passion as Declan shows Silver what having a family is truly about. Declan didn't mean to scare Silver, but his wolf had taken over, and now Declan must smooth things over with the little human.
