Part of Series

This is the second book in the Glenmore Series. Deputy James Glenmore is the second eldest son of Joseph and Virginia Glenmore who own a 150,000 acre ranch one hour from the town of Gold Springs. He has grown up on the ranch and until recently he was happy to work alongside his father and two brothers. When his family came to the assistance of a young girl who had been beaten and horse-whipped before being left to die on the track leading to their ranch; James found himself involved with the law in pursuit of her attackers. James soon discovers a love for the law that he can’t overlook and with the help of the local sheriff and the blessing of his parents; he leaves the ranch to take up the position of Deputy in their local town. He is sitting enjoying a quiet drink in the local saloon when a feisty young girl bursts through the doors; shattering his peace and capturing his attention. Rebecca Nolan causes such a ruckus, almost killing her drunken father, that James is forced to intervene and lock her up for the night. James isn’t looking for love and has declared it’s the last thing he wants but an incident during Rebecca’s stay at the jail has him caring more and more for his captive. James finds himself caught up in Rebecca’s secrets and they have to endure her father’s deadly temper, which has destroyed her young life, before they can be free. A band of outlaws, who are wanted in four states, target the bank in Gold Springs and several horrendous tortures and murders take place before the law finally catches up with them. James and Rebecca’s love continues to grow and they have managed to withstand all obstacles that are put before them but….. Will James survive the capture of the cruel outlaws? and ….. Will Rebecca finally find the happiness she deserves?

I was born in Manly on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, Australia and grew up in the west after we moved there to help my brother’s eczema which was made worse by salt air. I now reside in the beautiful sunny state of Queensland. My dad had the biggest impact on my life. I have always had an overactive imagination and would often tell him stories which floated in my mind. He encouraged me to put pen to paper convinced that one day they would become published books. Apart from marrying the love of my life, the highlight of my life was being accepted into Nursing just before my 16th birthday. It had been a long-time dream and one which encompassed 37 years of my life. Along with nursing, being married to a Naval Officer for almost 47 years, and posted in numerous places, gave me experiences which I have written into many of my books. We enjoy traveling the country with our Caravan/RV, and Jack Russell puppy by the name of Gemma who will be joining us. As my parents were British, never Australian citizens, I hold dual citizenship and we plan to take advantage of this to spend two years traveling the UK and Europe in the near future. It will also give me the opportunity to catch up with many family members who reside in England. My books are in various genres - Western Historical Romance-both steamy and sweet, Contemporary Romance-steamy and sweet, Male/Male, Australian Outback and City Romance. I also have one menage and one paranormal romance along with two children's books. As I said earlier, I have a rather overactive imagination. I hope you will pick up one of my books and when you close the cover on one of my stories it will be with a satisfied sigh.
