Phobos le encomienda a Cedric que infiltre a Vathek entre los rebeldes. La profesora Rudolph le informa a las W.I.T.C.H. que está a punto de abrirse un hueco en la muralla que separa a Meridian de la Tierra. Las chicas descubren un portal la librería de Cedric, por el que están a punto de entrar los habitantes de Meridian. Luego de una dura batalla, Vathek se da cuenta de la maldad de Cedric y lo abandona para ponerse del lado de los que quieren liberar a Meridian.

Elisabetta Gnone is an Italian writer. In April 2001, she co-created the Italian comic/magazine W.I.T.C.H. with Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa. The publication was later made into the television series of the same name. Gnone also wrote the children's trilogy Fairy Oak: Il segreto delle gemelle (The Secret of the Twins), L'incanto del buio (The Spell of Darkness), and Il potere della luce (The Power of Light).
