Dick 'Ferdinand' Swaab is a Dutch physician and neurobiologist. He is a professor of neurobiology at the University of Amsterdam and was previously Director of the Netherlands Institute for Brain Research and the Netherlands Brain Bank. Also publishes under the name D.F. Swaab for Elsevier and Spiegel & Grau.
