Here is a collection of over 70 poets, some famous and others less so, from ancient Greece to today. All poems, with exception of those by Scandinavian and English speaking poets, are presented in their original language and translated to Norwegian, Danish or Swedish. (The editors have made the distinct choice of choosing the best translations instead of choosing only Norwegian translations.) This anthology of poetry is part of the curriculum for Literature Studies at the university level in Norway. It is written in Norwegian, but is a great book for any Scandinavian student interested in a deeper analysis of poetry.
