Scorching heat rises around Jade, and someone will get burned. Jade is caught in the claws of the Dragon Commander’s son, and desperately counts the days until she can finally escape and kill the Dragon King. Jade hopes that his death will free her mother from the Earth Walkers’ imprisonment, but everything crashes down on her when a long since buried secret comes to light. Jade struggles with the courses of action available to her. Her next act will determine whether the safety of everyone she loves, including the dragon child growing inside her, is secured. The situation worsens further still as Billy doesn’t forgive her until it’s too late.
