Nato a Milano il 12 giugno 1962, inizia l'attività come grafico e illustratore nel settore editoriale e pubblicitario. L'esordio professionale avviene nel 1991, su Fumo di China, con la storia fantasy "Eliah", mentre è del 1992 il breve racconto "Bersek", uscito sull'Intrepido. Solo qualche mese dopo, dà vita, sulla stessa testata, a "Sprayliz", una teenager amante dei graffiti urbani. In seguito realizza la striscia "Skaters" e il personaggio di "Piotr”. Per la Casa editrice Bonelli, dal 1995 scrive e disegna alcune storie di Legs Weaver e nel 1999 crea la miniserie in diciotto numeri Gea, che vede protagonista una ragazzina amante del rock e baluardo contro le invasioni di mostri da universi paralleli. Per il mercato francese (Les Humanoïdes Associés) scrive “Morgana”, illustrato da Mario Alberti, e “Rangaku”, per i disegni di Maurizio Di Vincenzo. Nel 2007 pubblica, per Sergio Bonelli Editore, “Dragonero”, primo albo dei Romanzi a fumetti Bonelli, scritto con Stefano Vietti e disegnato da Giuseppe Matteoni. Nel 2008, conclusasi Gea, debutta Lilith, il suo nuovo personaggio, sempre edito da Bonelli. A giugno 2013 fa il suo esordio il mensile fantasy Dragonero, seguito dell'avventura raccontata nel omonimo Romanzo a Fumetti, sceneggiato in coppia con Vietti.
