But much to everyone's surprise, Pepe the former stray turns out to be more adept at sniffing out dead bodies than rodents. His first discovery? A corpse in the research alcove. Unnerved by Pepe's gruesome find, amateur sleuth Kat Harper takes it upon herself to investigate. She quickly learns the dead woman was disliked by practically the entire town, and nearly everyone she encounters had a viable motive for murder. With not much physical evidence to go on, Kat's going to need some help to figure out "whodunit." And help this time might be of the four-legged variety.
