Blai Bonet i Rigó (Santanyí, Mallorca, 1926-1997). Poeta, novel·lista i crític d'art. Una religiositat conflictiva i la tuberculosi van marcar la seva trajectòria humana i literària. El 1958 va publicar El mar, novel·la que va causar impacte, tant per la temàtica com pel tractament, on va incorporar els nous corrents experimentals que triomfaven a Europa. La recerca d'un llenguatge propi, evolucionant cap a formes cada vegada més lliures, es concreta en el poemari L'Evangeli segons un de tants, (Premi Carles Riba, 1962), que va trigar cinc anys a publicar-se per problemes de censura. El 1990 va ser distingit amb la Creu de Sant Jordi de la Generalitat de Catalunya. El 2014 es publica, reunida en un sol volum, la seva poesia completa.
