Moving back home at 27 was not in my original plan. But after the car accident that completely upended my family’s life, I just had to be there for them. I can’t complain, though. They let me blast Britney Spears’s greatest hits while making dinner, and they still respect my freedom as an adult. I can even meet up with my secret guy friend without any questions. No one can know about him, especially not my best friend. If she ever found out, she’d say “Bye Bye Bye” to our friendship. He’s not my boyfriend or anything (as much as I daydream about him). And it’s not like he’s into me, anyway. Besides, I have zero time for romance in between running three dance teams, working an extra job to help support my family, and dealing with my snooty coworker. Did I mention I’m also taking over snooty-coworker’s dance teams? But don’t worry about me. I can handle everything! Right?
