A second chance is just what the doctor ordered for this irresistible Westmoreland bachelor in a sizzling story from New York Times bestselling author Brenda Jackson. Dr. Micah Westmoreland always felt his long-ago affair with Kalina Daniels ended too abruptly. But he also knows the beautiful epidemiologist has never forgiven him. She always accused him of faking his feelings as part of a deal with her father to keep an eye on her in med school. Nothing he’d ever said could convince her otherwise. But now that they’re working side by side in a race to contain a raging epidemic, neither of them can ignore the heat that still burns between them. This time, there can be no question about his motive as they fall back into bed. Can they make their reunion last, or will passions from their past once again prove too hot too handle?
