For years Jeremy and his best friend Haven kept their bond strong despite the bricks, bars and bulletproof glass that separated them during their weekly visit, but it hadn’t just been Haven that Jeremy had gone to the prison to see. Jeremy had been crushing on Grayson since he first laid eyes on the man, and the fire hadn’t dimmed as Grayson had served his time. Freedom had never tasted as sweet or been so hard won. Eight years was a long stretch to serve, but seeing his best friend’s son every week and bunking with the man Jeremy loved like a brother, had given him a special insight into the man he’d become. Now the two of them were working together in Haven’s shop as the kid he’d once protected became his boss. Grayson considered that debt paid now and all slates wiped clean. Finally able to get back on his feet and reestablish himself in the community, his next step is to lay claim to the man he loves. Welcome to Foggy Basin Season Two. Just passing through? No problem. Here to stay, well, better find your place. Sit back, relax and get to know the townsfolk. They love hard and play even harder. Each book is a standalone but why not stay and get to know us and read them all.
Author

LAYLA DORINE lives among the sprawling prairies of Midwestern America, in a house with more cats than people. She loves hiking, fishing, swimming, martial arts, camping out, photography, cooking, and dabbling with several artistic mediums. In addition, she loves to travel and visit museums, historic, and haunted places. Layla got hooked on writing as a child, starting with poetry and then branching out, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. Hard times, troubled times, the lives of her characters are never easy, but then what life is? The story is in the struggle, the journey, the triumphs and the falls. She writes about artists, musicians, loners, drifters, dreamers, hippies, bikers, truckers, hunters and all the other folks that she’s met and fallen in love with over the years. Sometimes she writes urban romance and sometimes its aliens crash landing near a roadside bar. When she isn’t writing, or wandering somewhere outdoors, she can often be found curled up with a good book and a kitty on her lap.
