Part of Series

Olympic snowboarder, Lacey Moon, is in the middle of an identity crisis. She’s lost her love of the sport, as well as her drive to compete, and longs for a time when she wasn’t being chewed up and spit out by the machine controlling her life. After a devastating fall during the Olympics, followed by months of recovery, she conceals her identity and flees the safety of home, desperate to find herself and reconnect with who she once was. Scott McCord runs McCord Cabin Rentals with his brother in Hope Falls, Idaho. In high school, Scott was destined for greatness as a wide receiver, earning a full football scholarship and early praise for future success as a professional. But one act of deception changed everything, and Scott’s life hasn’t been the same since. Now, his world is centered on his daughter, and he’s abandoned what his life once was, along with the hope of finding love again. When Lacey arrives in Hope Falls, she immediately feels like she’s found where she belongs. It isn’t long before her path crosses Scott’s, and when their eyes meet, both know this is no casual flirtation. In Lacey, Scott sees hope. In Scott, Lacey sees home. Except there’s just one problem. Lacey hasn't told Scott her true identity. When the truth comes out, she could lose everything she hoped to find in Hope Falls.
