He's rich, handsome and at the top of his game. Unfortunately for Jack Foster, the "game" is played in the world of adult movies where he's better known as "Big John Johnson" and he's tired of it. Awards, fame and the cachet of being the most respected producer in his field have come to mean little to Jack, who prepares himself to suffer through yet another endless promotional appearance filled with plastic-enhanced women and meaningless conversation. When he meets Daphne Littlewood, however, he's in for a surprise. Daphne has an almost-completed thesis in her bag and research questions in her head. She doesn't know Jack, in the literal or figurative sense. She's simply dropping by this uncomfortably sexual establishment to find out about the current level of adult material available to the public. An interested helping hand from the handsome man in the adult video store starts Daphne on a journey one which takes her out of her everyday life and into places she'd never imagined. Some of her questions are answered, but still more are posed. She is going to have to decide if her passion for this man is genuine, or whether going to bed with Jack is "For Research Purposes Only"…

I'm really rather boring... Honestly. I live a pretty hum-drum life as a wife and mother. I shop at the local supermarket and use coupons now and again. See? Boring stuff. I live in Virginia now, so I am learning all kinds of new things - such as being able to buy beer and wine along with bread and toothpaste. Wow! Having been born and raised in England, I do possess a well-developed feel for the English countryside. Comes in handy for those Regency tales. Even though I was transplanted over to the US side of the Atlantic, I still have ties to all things Brit. I bake sausage rolls and make Christmas pudding. You can take the girl out of England, but not England out of the girl, I guess. I'm not sure anyone can write really well unless they read. A lot. I read anything and everything these days. And mostly on my couch with a book on my knees. Yes, the technology is out there for electronic versions, but there's not much to compare with a shiny new hardcover from a favorite author.
