So much has happened, and we don’t know what it all means yet. Our new gifts are going to take some time to understand, and my new magic is behaving about as well as I do. We thought that we would get at least a week off before we had to deal with anything, but of course, that’s not how it works, and complications start to be thrown at us almost the minute we get home. Adjusting to having an entirely new team member is going to be difficult, especially since we’re all mad as hell at the way he has been treated and how simple things are making him light up. I guess any hope of a break after the Choosing was a little bit farfetched anyway.
