As winter ravages northern Maine, the small coastal town of Kittiport has to pull together to offer help to the less fortunate. When Eleanora Pacelli hears about a local charity dedicated to supplying winter clothes, blankets, and warm food to those in need, she jumps at the chance to get more involved with the community – and create some good publicity for Papa Pacelli’s at the same time. Tragedy strikes at the local community center while Ellie is dropping off a donation, and she finds herself embroiled in a case that is shrouded in mystery. With the sheriff out of commission, she has to rely on her own intuition and skills to find out the truth about the victim’s unusual death.
