Mikki, the eccentric Canadian, has been writing in some form or another for nearly a quarter of a century; since writing her very first poem at age eleven. She lives in Ontario, Canada, with her cats, guinea pig and rabbit. She found her niche in teen fiction because it’s captivating, open-minded, fast-paced, and every sense is heightened. And that’s also the reason why it’s her favorite genre to pick up at a bookstore. Mikki has a diploma in both, Business Administration and Creative Writing. She loves creating things, animals, books and movies, trying to make people smile, and talking to her social media friends.

Evelyn Chartres is the nom de plume for a self-published Canadian author. The writer of seven Gothic fantasy novels, Evelyn released her debut novel, The Portrait, in 2016, and her latest, Dark Hearts, in 2022. A fan of the phrase “live to eat,” Evelyn shares her recipes on this website. These recipes have a loose focus on French-Canadian cuisine, which feature deep-dish meat pies, seafood, and desserts that are rarely seen outside of La Belle Province. Evelyn is currently living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is busy laying the foundations for her next book featuring Clara Grey.

Ari Meghlen is an English lass now living in beautiful Northern Ireland. After creating and running the successful #TheMerryWriter hashtag game on Twitter for a few years, it then morphed into #TheMerryWriterPodcast which she runs with her friend and fellow author, Rachel Poli. When she's not working, Ari can be found in her writing cave working on one of her (many) manuscripts. Her very first story scribbled at the age of 8, was about a monster under the bed and she hasn't stopped writing since. She shares writing updates in her newsletter, writing advice on her blog and random photos and memes on her Instagram. She does occasionally find time to leave her writing cave and indulge in other hobbies such as gardening, blogging, making things, drawing, shooting arrows, watching movies, losing at cards and spending time with her partner and their cats.
