Rob(erta) Hardlick, aka The Boy Named Sue, has been living the good life within the game Penultimate Phantasm XIX. She’s got her best bud Mich by her side, a Paladin friend with benefits, and enough digital fried chicken to make anyone happy. Everything is as perfect as it can be. Or at least it is until Proturbo Corp traps Rob and her friends in a game within a game - sending them hurtling far into the distant past where she’ll have to contend with an ancient conspiracy, a chonky new avatar, and a strange tentacle beast growing in her body.
