Glenda "Bong" Oris is a teacher at the School of Humanities, Ateneo de Manila University. She wrote the following books for children: Looking Out for Heroes, Kuwento ng Isang Mambabasa, Whuush!, and the Ayun O! series composed of five look-and-find books for beginning readers. She is a member of the Kuwentista ng mga Tsikiting (KUTING), Inc., an organization of Filipino writers of children's literature. Aside from reading, writing, and translating children's literature, she also extends assistance to museums and heritage conservation.
