A Little Time in Texas

1992

The past: Although Texas in 1864 was no place for a lone lady traveler, feisty Angela Taylor had to get to San Antonio. But when a rough-and-rugged stranger suddenly pushed her into a hilly cave and pulled her out into the twentieth century, Angela was plenty scared.... The present: Texas Ranger Dallas Masterson had a heart full of bitterness, and there was no room in it to care about a smart-mouthed, sassy woman claiming she was from another century! But Angela soon had Dallas discovering that, though his past was history, the future was theirs to make—together! \\\* Her past was a mystery Angela Taylor owes her life ot the Texas Ranger who rescued her from a band of no-good renegades. The problem is that he'd pulled her out of danger—and straight into the twentieth century. Now Angela's as far from Texas, 1864, as she could be, stuck wiht a disbelieving man too handsome for her own good. But was her future his to claim? She's either a woman out of time...or completely out of her mind. Dallas Masterson isn't sure what to believele From her crazy clothes to her feisty ways, he's almost convinced that this sassy, smart-mouthed woman fought Comanches, buried her fiancé, ran from the law and stole to survive...especially when she steals his horse to try and get back to the cave where he found her. Now, both Angela and Dallas are discovering that when it comes to things like the past—and falling in love—there's no place to go but the future.
